Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
- Examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Use brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
- Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components.
- Determine the weldability of materials.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Additional Information:
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, hand-eye coordination, and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Own Tools/Equipment Required: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, face shield.
