Salary: $28.40 hourly / 40 hours per week

Education Requirements:
- Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience Requirements:
- 5 years or more of welding experience
Work Environment:
- On-site work only, no remote options
- Work in confined spaces and noisy environments
Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air, AOC)
- Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines
Credentials:
- Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate
Experience and Specialization:
- Proficient in welding materials such as steel, iron, and heavy metals
- Skilled in welding techniques including Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW, TIG), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), and multipass welding
- Experience with arc welding machines and gas welding machines
- Area of specialization: Custom fabrication
Additional Information:
- Own transportation required
- Must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Own tools/equipment required: Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, welding helmet
