Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual/semi-automatic/automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and manuals
- Examine welds for standards/specifications compliance
- Operate flame-cutting, shaping, and bending machines
- Fit, braze, torch-straighten metal
- Operate arc-air cutting equipment
- Determine material weldability
- Use hoisting/lifting equipment
- Maintain and repair welding equipment
