Job Details:

  • Location: Various locations, including Hamilton, ON and Princeton, ON
  • Salary: $26.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
  • Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Environment:

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
  • The work environment is noisy, typical of a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials
  • Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite

Experience and Specialization:

  • Knowledge of welding techniques, including flux core arc welding (FCAW), brazing, and soldering
