- Salary: $34.07 hourly / 40 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in welding and fitting
Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
- Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air)
- Determine the weldability of materials
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding, including handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
- Requires manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
