Job Details:
- Location: 8091 Industrial Park Rd, Thornloe, ON, P0J 1S0
- Salary: $24.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 44 hours per week
- Type of Employment: Permanent employment
- Hours of Work: Full time, Day, Overtime, Morning (07:00 to 17:00)

Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Additional Credentials:
- Apprenticeship training (Levels 1 to 5)
- Pre-apprenticeship training
Experience and Specialization:
- Type of Materials: Steel, iron, and heavy metals
- Welding Techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW)
Working Conditions:
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license required
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, welding helmet
