Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and robotic welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and specs
- Examine and test welds for quality assurance
- Use CAD, metal shaping, and cutting tools
- Fit, braze, torch-straighten, and repair metal components
- Maintain and adjust welding equipment
Working Conditions:
- Requires proficiency in a range of welding technologies and equipment
- Work is performed on site only
