Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment
- Operate flame-cutting equipment
- Use brakes, shears, and other metal shaping machines
- Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
- Operate pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill seams
- Start, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production line
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
