Job Details:

  • Location: Markham, ON
  • Salary: $35.00 hourly / 30 to 44 hours per week
  • Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in web design or related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and develop website specifications.
  • Design and integrate website-related code and determine hardware and software requirements for optimal server performance.
  • Develop website architecture and document technical requirements to meet business needs.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses to support system implementation.
  • Write, modify, and test website-related code.
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards, and create content using various graphics and animation software.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, and interactivity.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and tests to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Research and evaluate interactive media software products.

Experience and Specialization:

  • Proficiency in computer and technology tools, including:
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Microsoft Visio
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • HTML
    • WordPress
    • Web service design
    • E-commerce platforms

Working Conditions:

  • On-site work; there is no option to work remotely.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
