Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Worker at Oak View Group, you will assist in venue distribution and warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, purchasing, ordering, and equipment maintenance. This role is crucial for the effective and profitable operation of the business, requiring excellent attendance and flexibility to work a variable schedule based on events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with product purchasing, ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
- Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
- Fulfill event expectations, including requisitioning during events, post-event breakdown, and equipment storage.
- Oversee stocking levels for each event, ensuring product integrity.
- Ensure proper transfer processes of products between locations.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of concession and utility equipment.
- Evaluate warehouse employee performance and maintain records.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in food service/hospitality; similar venue experience is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, make sound business decisions under pressure, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and POS cash/credit transactions.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: Fast-paced, physically demanding, with exposure to various weather conditions and high noise levels.
- Work Conditions: Extensive standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks that may require reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
