Qualifications Required:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1 to 2 years) or equivalent experience
  • Fields of Study: Gerontology, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Human Resources
  • Experience: Will train

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports or case histories
  • Conduct follow-up assessments and appraise client needs
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement community services
  • Screen, recruit, and train volunteers and support staff
  • Manage events and supervise office and volunteer staff
  • Liaise with social service agencies and healthcare providers
  • Maintain program statistics for evaluation and research
  • Assist clients with special needs and resolve conflict situations
