Requirements

  • Education: No diploma or certificate required
  • Experience: 3 to less than 5 years
  • Licences:
    • AZ class driver’s license
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Valid passport
  • Security Checks:
    • Criminal record
    • Driving record (abstract)
    • Driver’s licence validity check
    • Drug test
    • Medical exam

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive tractor-trailers or flatbeds to transport goods
  • Load and unload cargo; ensure tarping and secure transport
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Monitor vehicle systems (tires, brakes, lights, cold storage)
  • Maintain records: logbooks, bill of lading, trip reports, fuel usage, etc.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and navigate via GPS
  • Address customer concerns with professionalism
  • Pay and receive payments when applicable
  • Participate in team driving or convoy as required
