Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: No diploma or certificate required
- Experience: 3 to less than 5 years
- Licences:
- AZ class driver’s license
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Security Checks:
- Criminal record
- Driving record (abstract)
- Driver’s licence validity check
- Drug test
- Medical exam
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers or flatbeds to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo; ensure tarping and secure transport
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Monitor vehicle systems (tires, brakes, lights, cold storage)
- Maintain records: logbooks, bill of lading, trip reports, fuel usage, etc.
- Communicate with central dispatch and navigate via GPS
- Address customer concerns with professionalism
- Pay and receive payments when applicable
- Participate in team driving or convoy as required
