Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Licenses/Certifications:
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan or adjust routes using GPS to reduce fuel use and emissions
- Drive in mountainous terrain and as part of a team or convoy
- Load/unload goods and operate straight or articulated trucks
- Inspect vehicle systems and perform brake adjustments
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Record cargo details, hours, distance, and fuel usage
- Communicate with central dispatch
