Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan or adjust routes using GPS to minimize fuel consumption and emissions
- Provide professional customer service
- Inspect vehicle condition including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with central dispatch
- Record cargo details, service hours, distance, and fuel usage
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
Working Conditions:
- Valid passport, criminal record check, and drug test required
- Willing to travel cross-border
- Repetitive tasks and prolonged sitting
- Weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Use of personal protective equipment: cellular phone, hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, gloves
