Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan or adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to optimize fuel use and reduce emissions
- Provide professional customer service
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
- Inspect vehicle condition including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with central dispatch
- Record cargo details, service hours, travel distance, and fuel usage
