Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Certificates:
- AZ class license
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan or adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to reduce fuel use and emissions
- Provide professional customer service
- Drive alone or as part of a team or convoy
- Operate straight or articulated trucks for transporting goods
- Inspect vehicle components including tires, lights, and cold storage
- Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with central dispatch
- Secure cargo with tarping
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
