Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally.
- Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
- Utilize mountain driving expertise as needed.
- Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations.
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
- Load and unload goods securely.
- Obtain special permits and documents for transporting cargo on international routes.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Handle payments for goods and perform brake adjustments.
- Conduct emergency roadside repairs as necessary.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and manage all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping as required.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods in compliance with regulations.
Credentials:
- AZ class license
Experience and Specialization:
- Knowledge of documentation including accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, and trip reports.
- Experience with GPS and other navigation equipment.
- Transportation experience including local, long-haul, and short-haul routes.
Additional Information:
- Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check, driving record check (abstract), and drug test required.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Must be willing to drive manual transmission vehicles, travel cross-border, and for extended periods. Travel expenses paid by employer.
