Job Details:

- Salary: $23.00 to $26.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- Provide professionalism in customer service.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Load and unload goods.
- Use maps and other trip planning aids.
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Ensure safety and security of cargo through tarping.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
Credentials:
- Certificates and Licences:
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Forklift Operator Certification
Additional Information:
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation and valid driver’s license required; ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Work Conditions: Attention to detail, tight deadlines, work under pressure, physically demanding, handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs), and overtime may be required.
