About A&S Towing
A&S Towing is a reputable towing and transportation service provider committed to delivering exceptional service. We are currently seeking experienced Class DZ Truck Drivers with an air brake endorsement to join our team in North Bay.
Key Responsibilities
As a Class DZ Truck Driver, your primary duties will include:
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Handling payments and receipts for goods transported.
- Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections while overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
- Communicating information to central dispatch as needed.
- Recording cargo information, hours of service, distances traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transport.
Qualifications
- Certificates: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Class 3 or D Driver’s License.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant driving experience.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with driver logbooks, inspection reports, and trip reports.
Skills Required
- Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
- Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills and reliability.
Additional Information
- Must be bondable and willing to travel for extended periods, including overnight trips.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
