Job Overview:
As a Transportation Manager at CH LOGISTICS, you will oversee the transportation operations, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and standards regarding the transportation and storage of goods. Your analytical skills and leadership will be crucial in optimizing logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage finances and budget for transportation operations
- Arrange shipping documentation and track goods in transit
- Establish and implement policies and standards for transportation and storage
- Negotiate services and preferential rates with carriers
- Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a logistics or transportation management role
