- Salary: $29.00 hourly / 30 hours per week

Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Pay and receive payments for goods.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Perform preventive maintenance and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed.
Credentials:
- Certificates and Licences:
- DZ class license
- Driver’s License (Class 3 or D)
Additional Information:
- Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, provincial/territorial, regional, and short-haul.
- Work Conditions: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, large workload, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks.
