We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Analyst – Systems to join our team in Scarborough. Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Analyst – Systems, your primary duties will include:
- Granting access to computer networks and reporting on the performance of systems and networks.
- Responding to user inquiries and difficulties with their computer systems.
- Consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
- Providing advice and training to users based on identified difficulties.
- Collecting, organizing, and maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
- Participating in the redesign of applications and other software.
- Providing business systems, network, and internet support to users.
- Setting up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software.
- Performing web-server backup and recovery operations and managing incidents.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Linux, Unix, networking hardware, and networking security.
- Proficiency in desktop applications, MS Active Directory, MS Office, MS Windows, SQL, TCP/IP, and wireless networks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
