Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Software Engineering
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in software development or a related field

Responsibilities:

  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code.
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making necessary modifications.
  • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions effectively.
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements.
  • Help develop logical and physical specifications.
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
  • Program special effects software for film and video applications.
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
  • Consult with clients post-sale to provide ongoing support.
