Key Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, your primary duties will include:
- Writing, modifying, integrating, and testing software code.
- Maintaining existing computer programs by making necessary modifications.
- Communicating technical problems, processes, and solutions effectively.
- Preparing reports, manuals, and other documentation regarding software status, operation, and maintenance.
- Assisting in the collection and documentation of user requirements.
- Helping to develop logical and physical specifications for software projects.
- Researching and evaluating a variety of software products.
- Programming special effects software for film and video applications.
- Developing and testing software code for e-commerce and other internet applications.
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in software development is an asset but not required.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent judgment and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
