Position Overview
As a Software Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing effective solutions for mission-critical software systems. You will work closely with Senior Analysts and Technical Specialists to develop expertise in functional areas of our advanced software systems while adhering to industry-leading safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, and test software for medium-complexity or critical components.
- Develop and execute integration tests using simulated or target hardware test environments.
- Contribute to architectural design, algorithm refinement, and documentation of requirements.
- Identify and resolve software defects, conducting field testing and providing on-site engineering support as needed.
- Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of software with system requirements.
- Propose scalable and sustainable solutions aligned with project phases and timelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development for medium to large-scale applications.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems programming in C/C++.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl or Ruby.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and Eclipse.
Skills Required
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
