Qualifications Necessary
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in roofing or a similar field
- Languages: English
Responsibilities of the Job
- Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
- Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs
- Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
- Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings

Physical Capabilities
- Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 45 kg or 100 lbs)
- Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
