Qualifications:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Install built-up roofing systems using materials like asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt
- Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs
- Repair or replace roofing systems, including single-ply roofing systems
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Erect and install scaffolding and working platforms
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced and physically demanding environment, requiring work at heights
- Handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs) and performing repetitive tasks
