Job Details:
- Location: 1 Healthcare Crescent, Manitouwadge, ON, P0T 2C0
- Salary: $39.07 to $56.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
- Type of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours bi-weekly; includes Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, and Flexible Hours

Qualifications Required:
- Education: Master’s degree
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations or treatments
- Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients’ conditions
- Address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Conduct disease screening and deliver immunization programs
- Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Engage in research activities related to nursing
- Manage home care cases
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to the nursing profession and nursing practice
- Provide nursing care and supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Credentials Required:
- Acute Care Nursing Certificate
- Non-Acute Care Infection Control Professional (NAC ICP) training
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Certified Nurse in Critical Care – Canada (CNCC-C)
- Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
- First Aid Certificate
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
