Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Wrap and package prepared meats.
- Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale.
- Price meat products and clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
- Sell meats to customers and cut fish into steaks and fillets.
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers.
- Train meat cutters and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
- Maintain sales records for inventory control.
Experience and Specialization:
- Food Specialties: Fish and seafood.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: Odours, noisy, non-smoking environment.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, fast-paced environment, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail is essential.
