Overview:

- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Environment:
- Work will be conducted at heights, in confined spaces, and in various outdoor conditions (dusty, noisy, wet/damp).
Responsibilities:
- Instruct apprentices in restoration techniques
- Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units
- Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Caulk decks and hulls
- Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces, both below and above ground level
Credentials:
- Suspended access equipment training
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Experience and Specialization:
- Experience with industrial lift trucks, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools
- Cleaning experience for brick and stone building exteriors
- Area of specialization in construction and steeplejack work
Additional Information:
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel; public transportation is available
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Attention to detail
- Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure
Own Tools/Equipment:
- Hard hat, steel-toed safety boots, and personal tools required
