Job Details:

  • Salary: $35.50 hourly / 32 hours per week

Qualifications Needed:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within a restaurant setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules for kitchen staff.

Supervision:

  • Supervise 5-10 staff members.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site work; there is no option to work remotely.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling; physically demanding.
