Qualifications Required:
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Experience: Experience an asset
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
- Deliver nursing services within scope of practice based on patient assessments and care plans
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate nursing interventions, consulting with healthcare team
- Take and record blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Specialize in geriatrics and palliative care
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment; work under pressure with attention to detail
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- On-site work only; own transportation and valid driver’s licence required
Personal Suitability:
- Available for shift or on-call work (day, evening, weekend)
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Alliston
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Holds required certifications and willing to undergo security checks
Eligibility:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents with a valid work permit
- Must pass criminal record check, provide immunization records and tuberculosis test results
