- Location: 105 St. Paul Street, Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0
- Salary: $32.00 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 12 to 32 hours per week
- Type of Employment: Permanent, Part-time leading to Full-time
- Hours of Work: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning

Qualifications Needed
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: Experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Administer medications
- Clean and sterilize operating room and instruments
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
- Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
- Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
- Deliver nursing services within the defined scope of practice based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
- Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate healthcare team members
- Provide personal care and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Collect specimens
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Assist in regular exercise (e.g., walking)
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Working Conditions
- Environment: Non-smoking, rural area, retirement home
- Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; ability to work under pressure; combination of sitting, standing, walking; bending, crouching, kneeling; weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, team player, and punctuality
