Responsibilities:
- Assess children’s development and prepare tailored learning plans to meet their needs.
- Assist in housekeeping and cooking duties as required.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
- Develop and implement childcare programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe, clean environment.
- Engage children through storytelling, music, arts, and crafts.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their children’s progress and any concerns.
Work Environment:
- This position requires on-site work; remote work is not an option.
- The work setting includes outdoor activities and may involve noise typical of a childcare environment.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is required.
- First Aid and CPR certificates are necessary.
- Experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
- Must provide immunization records and pass a vulnerable sector check.
