Job Details
- Location: Etobicoke, ON
- Salary: $60,000 to $85,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
- Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
- Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications Needed
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a relevant role
Responsibilities
- Analyze clients’ financial records
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
- Conduct field audits of businesses for compliance with the Income Tax Act, Canadian Business Corporations Act, and other statutory requirements
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
- Analyze financial documents and reports
- Examine accounting records
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
- Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Experience and Specialization
- Computer and Technology Knowledge:
- Accounting software (CANTAX, QuickBooks, Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
