Job Details:

- Salary: $35.00 to $45.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 60 hours per week

Qualifications Necessary:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Responsibilities of the Job:
- Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
- Instruct apprentices
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
- Supervise a team of 1 to 2 people
