Position Overview
As a PHP Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications that enhance the educational experience for our students. You will work in a collaborative environment, utilizing your technical expertise to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement new web applications and features.
- Design and optimize backend solutions using PHP and MySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain documentation for code and processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in web application development.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Laravel or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Skills Required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git.
