Qualifications Necessary
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in painting or a related field
- Languages: English
Responsibilities of the Job
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes in surfaces
- Mix paint to achieve desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Experience and Specialization
- Proficient in brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting
- Experience with drywall taping/patching, sandblasting, and surface preparation
- Skilled in applying decorative effects, coatings, and wood finishing techniques
Work Environment
- Work Setting: Various locations; work must be completed on-site
- Work Conditions: Outdoors and in confined spaces; ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
