We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented Painters and Decorators to join our team in Etobicoke. Key Responsibilities
As a Painter and Decorator, your primary duties will include:
- Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted.
- Repairing cracks and holes in walls and surfaces.
- Mixing paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
- Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other fabrics to walls.
- Advising clients on color choices and wall coverings.
- Erecting scaffolding and swing stages, and attaching rigging as needed.
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimating costs and materials required for jobs.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in painting and decorating.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish between colors effectively.
- Physically capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
- Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
