About the International Federation on Ageing

We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to join our team in Toronto. Key Responsibilities
As an Office Manager, your primary duties will include:

  • Implementing and reviewing new administrative procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Delegating work to office support staff and establishing work priorities.
  • Ensuring that procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carrying out administrative activities and assisting in the preparation of the operating budget.
  • Maintaining inventory and budgetary controls, and preparing expense and income reports.
  • Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Training staff and overseeing office administrative procedures.
  • Resolving conflict situations and monitoring performance.
  • Overseeing payroll administration and managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintaining an organized filing system and managing contracts.

Qualifications

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in office management or administration.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, SharePoint, and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
  • Effective time management and teamwork capabilities.
