Job Details:
- Location: Various locations (Pickle Lake, ON and Moosonee, ON)
- Workplace: On site (Remote/Rural area)
- Salary: $18.00 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
- Hours: 40 to 47 hours per week

Qualifications Required:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in health aide or orderly roles.
- Credentials: CPR/First Aid, Health Care Aide/Nursing Aide/Continuing Care Assistant certificates. Specialized training in Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP), behavior management, and Core competencies for public health.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside and personal care, including bathing, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients using safe movement principles.
- Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher and assist with regular exercise and walks.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping/laundry.
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide companionship.
- Maintain patient rooms and document care-related observations.
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Fast-paced environment involving repetitive tasks.
- Work is performed in nursing homes, community health centers, or client private homes in remote/rural areas.
- Requires willingness to relocate to northern Ontario locations.

Eligibility:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents with a valid work permit.
