Qualifications Required:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Credentials:
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers (11–15 people)
- Design and develop marine vessels, floating structures, and associated systems
- Work in areas such as business administration, design, operations, project management, quality assurance, and technical writing
Working Conditions:
- Work must be completed at the physical location; no remote option
- Work setting: Urban area, Ship building and shipping
- Environment: Tight deadlines, attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colours
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Requires own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel (including internationally)
