About the Position
Deanna Montour is seeking a caring and responsible Nanny to join her family in Ancaster. If you have a passion for childcare and enjoy creating a safe and nurturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
As a Nanny, your primary duties will include:
- Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Shopping for food and household supplies.
- Traveling with the family on trips and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
- Disciplining children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organizing activities such as games and outings for the children.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
- Supervising and caring for children.
- Taking children to and from school and to appointments.
- Attending to the emotional well-being of the children.
Qualifications
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
Skills Required
- Strong organizational skills and reliability.
- Honesty and integrity in caring for children.
Additional Information
- Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check required.
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
