Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 5 years or more
- Transportation: Valid driver’s licence
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment
- Order parts and maintain inventory
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Clean, lubricate, and perform maintenance work
- Repair heavy trucks and service attachments/tools
Working Conditions:
- Outdoors, dusty, hot, noisy environments
- Physically demanding tasks
- Handling heavy loads (over 45 kg / 100 lbs)
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods
- Requires manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and sound discrimination
- Must use own tools/equipment (steel-toed safety boots)
