Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Manager, your primary duties will include:
- Analyzing market research data to inform business decisions and activities.
- Assisting in product development and identifying potential markets for products or services.
- Developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
- Directing the development and maintenance of the organization’s Internet and intranet sites.
- Evaluating the marketing strategies used by establishments and overseeing the preparation of website content.
- Supervising and training staff to ensure effective marketing practices.
- Developing promotional materials and managing digital databases.
- Acting as spokesperson for the organization and advising clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies.
- Conducting public opinion and attitude surveys and initiating contact with the media.
Qualifications
Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a relevant marketing role.
Skills Required
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market research data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing marketing strategies and supervising a team of 5-10 people.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, both in person and remotely.
