Key Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead, your primary duties will include:
- Conducting studies to determine optimal inventory levels and efficient utilization of machinery and resources.
- Designing manufacturing systems to enhance the use of computer networks, robots, and materials.
- Developing performance standards and strategies to eliminate wastefulness in production processes.
- Supervising technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff, and other engineers.
- Developing integrated manufacturing systems and procedures.
- Analyzing production costs and conducting time studies to improve efficiency.
- Establishing programs to enhance industrial health and safety and addressing fire and other hazards.
- Developing maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
- Assessing business opportunities and formulating strategies for growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in software tools such as Minitab and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
