Key Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting studies to determine optimal inventory levels and efficient utilization of machinery and resources.
  • Designing manufacturing systems to enhance the use of computer networks, robots, and materials.
  • Developing performance standards and strategies to eliminate wastefulness in production processes.
  • Supervising technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff, and other engineers.
  • Developing integrated manufacturing systems and procedures.
  • Analyzing production costs and conducting time studies to improve efficiency.
  • Establishing programs to enhance industrial health and safety and addressing fire and other hazards.
  • Developing maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
  • Assessing business opportunities and formulating strategies for growth.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in software tools such as Minitab and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
