Job Details:

- Salary: $22.00 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 50 hours per week
- Hours: Day, Weekend

Qualifications Required:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
- Credentials: Provincial licence/certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides; Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
Job Responsibilities:
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
- Cut grass, lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
- Apply fertilizers according to safety standards.
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment such as chain saws, roto-tillers, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers.
- Repair and maintain small engine equipment.
- Write daily basic progress reports.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor environment: Exposure to wet/damp, noisy, dusty, and hot conditions.
- Physically demanding: Involves handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and extended periods of walking.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Requires steel-toed safety boots.
