Qualifications Required:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Compute dimensions and tolerances
- Measure and lay out work pieces
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools
- Verify product dimensions using precision measuring instruments
Working Conditions:
- Work must be completed at the employer’s location
- Use of various machinery: boring machines, EDM, milling machines, planers, sawing machine
Personal Suitability:
- Detail-oriented
- Skilled in precision measurement
- Able to work independently
- Good technical interpretation and execution
