Job Overview:
As a Local Truck Driver at Pro-Ply Custom Plywood Inc., you will be responsible for transporting goods to and from various locations. Your role will involve loading and unloading products while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods efficiently
  • Complete necessary documentation, including bills of lading and inspection reports
  • Ensure the safe operation of the straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)
  • Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Languages: English
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a driving role
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Local driving experience required

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team
