Qualifications Required:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation
- Install electrical wiring and components
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and components
- Test electrical equipment for continuity, voltage, and resistance
- Maintain and test switchgear, transformers, and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
- Interpret electrical code specifications and blueprints
- Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain records
Working Conditions:
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, dusty and hot environments
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
- Physically demanding with bending, crouching, kneeling
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Own tools and steel-toed safety boots required
- Must have own vehicle
